Coal Handbook and the case of Indonesia
This book was written and designed for an Indonesian-listed company operating in the energy sector.
The study, incorporating data visualizations and infographics, presents a detailed analysis of coal’s leading role as a world primary energy source, including recent developments in global coal supply, demand and trade. As stated by the International Energy Agency, accelerated improvements in the environmental performance of coal use are required. An in-country analysis of the coal industry in Indonesia is presented, with examples of coal use characterised by low levels of pollutants, that meet international emission standards.
