Olio del Garda D.O.P. – Il Valore dell’Origine

This work consists of a series of infographics on the specific quality designation of olive oil produced in the Lake Garda region (Italy). The quality designation, or DOP (i.e., Denominazione di Origine Protetta, Protected Designation of Origin), ensures that the olive oil is exclusively manufactured in a particular geographical location, using only specific olive varieties.

The DOP from Garda is therefore reserved only for oils where the entire production process in done in the region, whose characteristics are due to the particular geographic settings, along with other strict parameters. To ensure quality and compliance, checks are carried out periodically by an independent entity.
